Kanyapat completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at Kasetsart University in Thailand, followed by PhD research at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Professor Charlotte Williams and Dr Georgina Gregory. Her PhD research focused on the design of functional polycarbonates and polyesters for use in rechargeable batteries, with the aim of developing polymer electrolytes as sustainable alternatives to conventional battery components. Her PhD was funded by a Royal Thai Government scholarship through the Development and Promotion of Science and Technology Talents Project (DPST).
